Reynella end of year

The final class for Reynella will be Thursday 15th December.

RNH 21st Birthday Demo

The Reynella Neighbourhood Centre celebrated it’s 21st birthday on Sunday. Zen Shin Kan students Oli and Connor joined me in performing a demonstration during the event. We had a great crowd, and the guys performed very well.

Demonstration for OzAsia

This Wednesday 22nd September Sensei Takeo and Damien will be giving a demonstration of Iaido for the Moon Lantern Festival, part of the OzAsia Festival in Adelaide. The demo begins at 4:10 in Elder Park in the city, and will include single and paired waza and tameshigiri (bamboo cutting). Come along to and say hi.

The final grading sessions in Adelaide will be on Monday the 5th of April at the Modbury Dojo and on Sunday the 11th of April at Honbu. If you would like to grade please contact your Sensei.

Certificate fees are now being collected. If you are unsure what your fee is please contact the Secretary General.

Shihan GoHo Wonho Chong departs for New Zealand on Wednesday the 24th of February, where he will be conducting seminars, grading students and taking part in demonstrations. We wish him the best for his travels.

Shihan will return to Adelaide on the 10th of March and shortly after this will begin grading students at the Adelaide Honbu. We encourage all students eligible to grade to prepare over the next few weeks and please ask your Sensei if you have any questions or problems.
