Friday, December 30th, 2011A new Hokushin Shinoh Ryu Iaido Dojo will be opening in Canberra on Tuesday the 7th of February, 2012 (Shin Bu Kan – 心武館).Classes will be run by Joel Brady (豪仁) Sensei and held at the Southside Community Services Hall: 63 Boolimba Street, Narrabundah on Tuesday nights from 6:00pm.

Tameshigiri at Reynella

Reynella Dojo holidays
Monday, November 22nd, 2010The Reynella Dojo will be closing over the Christmas break. The final class is December 9th, and the first class of the new year January 20th. Students are of course most welcome to train at other Dojos over the break.

RNH 21st Birthday Demo
Monday, September 27th, 2010The Reynella Neighbourhood Centre celebrated it’s 21st birthday on Sunday. Zen Shin Kan students Oli and Connor joined me in performing a demonstration during the event. We had a great crowd, and the guys performed very well.

The final grading sessions in Adelaide will be on Monday the 5th of April at the Modbury Dojo and on Sunday the 11th of April at Honbu. If you would like to grade please contact your Sensei.

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010Shihan GoHo Wonho Chong departs for New Zealand on Wednesday the 24th of February, where he will be conducting seminars, grading students and taking part in demonstrations. We wish him the best for his travels.
Shihan will return to Adelaide on the 10th of March and shortly after this will begin grading students at the Adelaide Honbu. We encourage all students eligible to grade to prepare over the next few weeks and please ask your Sensei if you have any questions or problems.
