As the owner of the restaurant is a devout martial practitioner, he has worked out a very good menu with the best price for us. Entree will include sushi, with Korean BBQ as the main dish. The menu will also include the restaurant’s famous Glenelg Spicy noodle. The dinner will finish with home made ice cream. Please also see the attached link with some reviews of the restaurant:

As most of you are aware, Takeo Sensei is getting married early December. I hope that we can get together on this occasion to pass on our best wishes to Takeo Sensei and his fiancee.
I hope to hear from you very soon. As the restaurant is not a huge one, the owner hopes to dedicate the majority of the restaurant to our needs.

2011 AKJA National Judo Championships, and the 13th Australian Masters Games Judo Tournament
Monday, September 26th, 2011Dear Hokushin members and friends,
On the 9th of October we have been invited to perform a demonstration at the 2011 AKJA National Judo Championships, and the 13th Australian Masters Games Judo Event (a combined tournament). The tournament is to be held at Christian Brothers College Gym, 214 Wakefield Street, Adelaide. The demonstration will be at 12:30pm, after our regular Sunday training. This will be a great opportunity to promote our school and we would like to get as many members involved as possible.
If you would like to assist please reply so we have an idea of numbers, or come and see Takeo Sensei or myself at training.
Best wishes!

Moon Lantern Festival (12/09/2011)
Friday, August 19th, 2011Dear Hokushin Members,
As most of you would be aware, we will be demonstrating again this year at the Moon Lantern Festival on the 12th of September (part of the OzAsia Festival). The performance is scheduled from 4:00pm to 4:30pm and it will be at a site on the grassed area between the Rotunda and the Festival Theater (closer to the theater). I suggest we meet at the small driveway to the right of the main driveway into the festival theater at about 3:30pm to give time to get changed and unload equipment from the car.
To assist with preparations for the demonstration we will also be holding a tameshigiri (live cutting) session on Sunday the 28th of August. We have some mats that we can utilize, but, as always, if you know of a location where we can collect some bamboo, and have time and a suitable vehicle or trailer to transport, could you please speak to Takeo Sensei or myself.
Could all Dōjō-chō also make sure they make an announcement about this at their dōjō. This is a great opportunity to promote our school and sharpen your skills.
Please respond if you would like to take part, or speak to your Sensei at training so we have an idea of numbers.
Best wishes!
